Features two short stories set in the Gyrath's Gate universe.

The first story takes place after the main story arc of Chapter 1, and finds Scar wandering between the worlds alone. This introduction is written specifically for the preview, and will never be reproduced again, making this book a very limited edition collectable!

The second story in the book is a short, four-page extract from midway through Chapter 0.

The Gyrath's Gate Chronicles: Chapter 0 #1 will be released around September of 2006.

With a little help from something she never expected to wear again, Scar manages to escape into another city, and another life. Assuming the guise of Helga Gorchst, Scar finds herself a new home, and something more shocking still - A job.

But will working retail save her from her past?

The Gyrath's Gate Chronicles: Chapter 0 #3 is due for release in 2007.

Alone with her first love on the road to the city of sails, Scar struggles to come to grips with the problems that freedom bring with her.

But lacking any other options, Scar opts to make the most of the hand that Fate has dealt her - until her enemies decide to change the rules.

The Gyrath's Gate Chronicles: Chapter 0 #5 is due for release in 2008.

In her time of greatest need, the one person that Scar can trust finally comes to the rescue. Still shocked by the events since Wellington, they're forced to make the decision that'll change their young lives: To leave New Zealand behind. Forever.

However, nothing is ever as it seems, and soon the friends are forced to realise a lesson they'd hoped to never have to learn: That a friend is only an enemy who hasn't betrayed you yet.

The Gyrath's Gate Chronicles: Chapter 0 #7 is due for release in 2009.

When the battle royale Scar faced fearlessly turns to the worst and she finds herself outclassed, she discovers an ally in the most unlikely place - an enemy who could be a friend.

No longer alone, but both terrified and excited by the new prospects that a new country might offer her, the double-sized #9 brings about the end of the first chapter of young Scar's life, and begins to touch on things to come.
